1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Involves drafting emails, letters and court documents to family, care providers and the court/other professionals Includes creating court bundles and applying for legal funding / further funding on cases Involves drafting costs review to make sure we have enough funding for cases

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Legal drafting, use of more professional language and structure how to put together a court bunde how to diarise instructions what each different DoLS/court forms mean how to act with clients on visits

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much so - very pleased to have such a great opportunity

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well I am aware of what is expected of me and what I must do each day / where I need to push myself in order to succeed

Lots - my team is small but always has time should i need any assitance or guidance

Lots UoL is always threre with sev eral different contact points should I need any assistance

UoL explains things in a different way, but means I have prior knowledge before progressing into different areas of my role

Very supportive Lots of opportunity to grow feels as an employer they genuinely care about their employees and their wellbeing pay structure is good

be your authentic self be friendly don't be afraid to have a laugh/ make jokes don't be put off by the fact it's a legal career, and don't pretend to be someone else. you'll fit in just the way you are
