  • My role as a nursery practitioner is to look and care for children day in day out. To keep them safe and teach them and help them develop and grow.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt my first aid which I think is so useful. I’ve been able to complete free courses within my apprenticeship due to realise giving me the opportunity to have noodle now.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I don’t like doing all of the work and one file is confusing at times and for the off the job your percentage takes a few days to update so you never know where your at that’s what I would improve for learners!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It’s very well organised and my trainer Nicola Whittaker has been amazing! She took me on during my level 2 and has been with me the whole way through and has always been supportive

  • I have received a bit of help and support but not as much as I would have liked too at times

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There’s a lot of support! They offer tips for your end point assessment, always there to talk to if you need any help

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • This has really helped as it has given me more knowledge and helped me gain skills and will also help me go onto other jobs in the future

  • A women who comes in to sing with the children called Jo jingles

  • They are very helpful and give you any advice that you need to get through your course and offer extra support if needed

  • Get your off the job done as soon as possible as it takes longer than you think
