  • On a daily basis, my duties involve: collecting data, conducting cost-benefit analyses, collaborating with internal staff to develop more efficient policies and procedures, preparing reports, studying the current supply chain process, identifying areas for improvement, implementing and monitoring changes, analysing data, designing efficient distribution routes, monitoring logistics team performance, evaluating pricing strategies, and providing timely administrative support.

  • Yes, I have learnt numerous new skills and developed existing ones while working as a logistics analyst. I have become more adept at data analysis, cost-benefit analyses, project management, reporting, and problem solving. I have also developed my skills in communication, negotiation, and networking, which I use to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

  • I thoroughly enjoy my job as a logistics analyst. I am constantly challenged with new tasks and feel that I am making a positive contribution to the organisation by providing cost-effective solutions and improving logistics operations. It is rewarding to work as part of a team that is focused on creating better systems and procedures.

  • My programme is very well structured and organized. I have daily, weekly, and monthly goals that I need to meet. I am provided with detailed documentation and directions for each task I am assigned. I have access to helpful resources and guidance to ensure that I am able to quickly complete tasks and that I am up-to-date on the latest developments in the logistics industry.

  • My employer provides me with a great deal of support, both in terms of guidance and resources. In addition to providing me with training and resources, my employer ensures that I have the tools I need to stay organised and complete my tasks efficiently. My employer also provides feedback on my work and encourages me to ask questions and discuss any issues that I encounter.

  • My training provider provides a great deal of support when working towards my qualifications. I am provided with course materials and resources to help me understand the concepts I am learning. I am also able to access their online learning platform to receive additional support and ask questions. My training provider also offers one-on-one tutorials with subject matter experts and encourages me to share my ideas and suggestions. They provide feedback and guidance to ensure that I am meeting my learning objectives and provide certification upon successful completion. Additionally, my training provider is always available if I need help or have any questions.

  • My qualification from my training provider greatly enhances my ability to perform in my role. It has given me a comprehensive understanding of the different aspects of logistics, including cost-benefit analysis, supply chain management, and performance management. In addition, I have gained a greater appreciation for the industry and the importance of systems optimisation. My qualification has also enhanced my skills in project management, problem solving, and data analysis, which allows me to develop more efficient and reliable solutions for the organisation.

  • Yes, my workplace offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. The organisation frequently organises social and networking events for staff members, which allow us to get to know each other better and build relationships. Additionally, there are various sports teams and other activities that staff members can join for recreation. Professional networking is also available for those who are interested in exploring career opportunities or learning from industry experts. My employer is also very supportive of any volunteer work or community initiatives I choose to become involved in.
