My daily responsibilities include gathering data, performing cost-benefit analyses, working with internal staff to create more effective policies and procedures, writing reports, researching the current supply chain process, identifying areas for improvement, putting changes into place and monitoring them, analysing data, designing effective distribution routes, observing the performance of the logistics team, analysing pricing strategies, and providing prompt administrative support. Additionally, maintaining vendor connections, contract negotiations, and ensuring appropriate inventory levels may all fall under my purview.
Yes, working as a logistics analyst has allowed me to hone several new abilities and improve others. I've improved in my ability to evaluate data, perform cost-benefit assessments, manage projects, write reports, and solve problems. Additionally, I have improved my networking, communication, and negotiation abilities, which I employ when working with various stakeholders.
