General operations of a crowded bar with a big beer garden and 20 tables inside. Ordering, stock rotation, cellar management, cash handling, staff management, rota planning, sales planning, human resources, employee relations, customer satisfaction, staff training, law and legislation, general maintenance, cleaning, and presentation management are just a few of the diverse responsibilities I have.
While working for Greene King and completing my apprenticeship, I have developed a variety of new skills and greatly expanded my knowledge through mentoring from coworkers and trainers, research, and training provided by the company, as well as lifetime training, which is always available online.
I really appreciate learning new things since it helps me become better today and have more potential in the future. I believe the learning I'm getting is of the highest quality and will prepare me, or anyone else participating in the programmes offered, for whatever the future may hold.
The program's structure is great; you are given all of your important dates for your apprenticeship from the outset, and these dates have been carefully scheduled so they don't conflict with significant company events, enabling you to be in your position when it matters most. Its very efficient.
My employer is really encouraging because he is the one who encouraged me to complete an apprenticeship because he thinks that every employee should be developed to the best of their abilities. Training time is allotted to us, and there is always and ready access to any further support. Thanks
My training coach, who is provided by my training provider, is always available by phone for assistance and support. She also arranges a face-to-face meeting once a month to help us track our personal growth and progress and to address any other issues. when not available we also do remote meetings from time to time.
Every aspect of the programme is extremely relevant to the overall management of a pub and the role I continue to play every day. By completing the programme, I am able to evaluate how I currently operate and adapt and improve my procedures in order to streamline them for the best outcome for the company.
All of the aforementioned are offered by Greene King and Lifetime Training, and they allow for more networking with others who share your interests. This, in turn, helps you to increase your knowledge by learning new business-related skills and methods. Additionally, it is a perfect moment to lend a hand in any manner you can.
