I work across the UK business and advise on learning solutions for our divisions. I work with senior leaders to create training plans and increase employee satisfaction through learning. I complete a training needs analysis every year and create reports to present to our Regional leaders and support them in looking at priorities for each year. I work with external stakeholders to implement these initiatives as well as advise on what we can do internally to create a better learning culture.
I have learned how to embed a learning culture within our business. I have been able to create processes and started to implement learning solutions with our senior leaders to enhance employee satisfaction within the organisation. I have new confidence in my skills and really feel like I am giving expert advice to others within T&T. I now look at different models and theories to support my own learning and help me to show why the initiatives we are implementing are important and valuable.
I really enjoyed my the programme. All of my tutors were extremely knowledgeable and really helped me understand why these topics were important to learn. I think the topics were organised in the most logical way and really flowed well. My tutor Hazel was amazing. She really encouraged me to put in the work and be the best L&D professional I can be.
I think the course was structured as well as it could have been. When I started, we were just coming out of COVID so all our learning was done online & through webinars. It would have been nice to have met some of my group but I really thought it was done well.
When I started my apprenticeship, I was at another organisation. Whilst working there, I wasn't able to impliment my learning very well which made me become fairly frustrated. When I started at T&T, I was given the opportunities to really use what I was learning which made my reflections really important. T&T always gave me the time to attend my workshops, complete my learning journal and I had regular meetings with my line manager so they could help me in any way possible. My score is solely based on my time on programme and working at T&T.
I felt really supported by my tutors through the programme. My mentor really kept me engaged when I was frustrated and gave me some really useful tools to create situations where I could use my learning in the workplace. I really liked the learning journal online tool where I could imput all my hours of learning.
I believe my skills as an adviser have really increased since I started my programme. I am able to look at things in a different way and really look for solutions using what I have learned. The tools I learned on the programme are now used in my day to day working life (stakeholder mapping, SWOTs, RACI etc).
Yes we have lots of different activities at T&T: Running club - every Thursday morning before work Cycling club - every Wednesday morning before work Netball club - plays other organisation's teams in London Monthly office socials Monthly coffee mornings Team socials - these were on hold for a while but are now starting again
Yes
I have really enjoyed my time at T&T. I think they are doing well in the current market and are hitting their targets for growth & net zero amongst other targets. I think the people who work at T&T are talented, creative and are really keen to help where they can.
Really look into the organisation, their service lines and the projects they have worked on. T&T really do want to make a change in the industry and strive to be the best. You'll need to be committed and willing to work hard. There are lots of opportunities available and you will work alongside some of the best.
