My main role is recruitment. Updating Job Adverts, looking for new ways to recruit, shorlisting applicants, arranging interviews, gathering documents. Also involved in recruitment of overseas candidates, issuing certificates of sponsorship, checking we are compliant to be a sponsor. Also doing payroll.
I have learned many new skills in recruitment techniques, learning care compliance and developed my communication skills.
I really enjoyed my programme. I enjoyed learning on the job as well as completing assignments. It was nice to be put in charge of recruitment initiatives as it gave me more experience in this.
Very well organised. Usual structure allowed Friday as my learning day, however this was made flexible to accomodate needs of the business - especially around end of the months where we may be busier with invoicing and payroll.
I receive full support from my employer. They allow me to take initiative to work independently on projects but are also there if I need guidance or advice. They are flexible around my needs.
I receive a lot of support from my provider. We have regular check ins and review my development plan regularly to check I am working towards my goals.
I feel it's given me more knowledge around aspects I have less experience in dealing with as well as helping me focus on areas I want to develop and get more involved with other aspects of the business.
