I’ve been working here for 5 years and have been promoted to practice lead. I give medication, do personal care, organise trips for the residents. I cook for everyone and help them live a normal life and promote their independence.
I have training which expands my knowledge. I’ve learnt how to complete a rota and book medication in.
I’m really enjoying it, it helps that I have a tutor who helps lead me down the right path and is friendly.
It is really well organised
My employer does help me and asks how I’m getting on with it.
My training provider does help me if I’m struggling
by learning new things.
Yes
Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with. I have made some lovey friends along the way.
It’s a very rewarding but challenging job at the same time.
