I take x-rays on a daily basis. This involves positioning patients for their x-rays to ensure good quality Diagnostic images are produced. This means that patients are given the best care possible. Sometimes this can be a struggle due ro patient conditions however, I try my best to communicate with patients to ensure the x-rays produced are of good Diagnostic quality.
I have learnt new skills and also developed my existing skills. Working with paediatric patients is a new skill that I have learnt as during my assistant practitioner training I was not allowed to work with patients under the age of 18.
I enjoy the programme and working with patients on a daily basis. However, the assessments and exams are stressful.
The programme is organised well however, I feel as though the 18 months could actually have been condensed into a 12 month programme.
I have recieved support from my employer. However, the off the job hours and study time has been a grey area.
They are supportive.
It will make me become autonomous and I will be able to make my own decisions.
Yes there are always social events to attend. For example, bowling and eating out.
Yes
Overall the team is nice to work with.
