Responsible for leading sales, team supervision and admin, improving KPI’s and training.
Yes, computer skills. Also the reasoning behind why we work the way we do!
I have enjoyed the learning, but struggled to find the time to join classes, then catching up became harder as I had not had the interactions with the group.
Programme itself was well structured, and changes were made to help me combat my dislike of spreadsheets!
First mentor left the company after 4 months, no formal meetings with a replacement until I asked to withdraw from the course. There is very much a requirement to do the work at home-no provision for extra hours within store, had to supply my own laptop. RM’s variable.
More than my employers. Determined to get me through to the end, even tho it was a struggle. Aaron accepted my limitations and worked to support me with computer training etc. Also sympathetic with the issues regarding time and mentor.
I learnt more about retail and am more confident in my ability to communicate my knowledge to my store team.
Annual managers conference.
Yes
Individuality is welcomed within the company, and hard work with a ‘can do” attitude is rewarded. No two days are the same, and there is a real family/team camaraderie within store.
Go in with the right attitude, and you will be appreciated. If the team work together, it’s a lot easier to manage the store.
