We essentially went through each day going over different aspects of law, starting with contract, then moving into commercial awareness and afterwards statutory interpretation, all with different tasks to exercise our skills. But on top of this we also heard expert opinions and advice on a range of matters, including the entry into law
I learned many skills on this programme. Firstly, critical analysis was a large part of both contract and statutory interpretation, with both workshops significantly exercising these skills. But also, debate skills were exercised in the 'Jaffa Cake Workshop', where we were to consider a range of angles and argue for different views
Yes
If law is what someone wants to get into you can't really get better than this programme, we went through loads of different parts of the subject in ways that kept me engaged and therefore learning. Also everyone was really helpful so I could get through the programme with no trouble
Well first consider if law is what you want to do, but if it is then to absolutely apply. And when you do go, make sure to engage with all of the workshops as they are very interesting, as well as asking all the questions you want to make sure that you learn everything you want to
