My role is to make sure the environment is a safe and fair place for the children in our care. We also plan activities around children's interests that can help them meet their next steps and encourage them to meet milestones. we also have to respect the parents, children and other staff members we work with.
I have gained more confidence in doing this role. I now have key children that i get from the door so i have to talk to communicate with their parent or career. I have also gained more technology skills while using realise on my computer which has become more useful for other things to like research.
I enjoy the programme a lot, i can access to do any work whenever i want. The staff members in realise are all understanding and helpful and will go the exra mile to explain things. I learn more and more from each meeting or webinair and it is all useful in my job roll.
The programme is very organised, from the very start to where i am up to now. The staff have taught me how to use realise to make it easy. I got told from the start what the expectations were so i now exactly what to do and when to do it.
My employer is amazing. They support exra help if i need, they give me time out and each staff member is very helpful. If they know i will know something they wont just tell me the answer they will ask me questions to challange me which has became useful. I get all the support i could have and need.
I get loads of support from my training provider, they put me on and webinar i need or ones that i even ask about because i want to know and learn. I can email my tutor at any point and she will get back to me as soon as she can.
I learn more information and facts that i use in and around the room. I also tell all the staff members in my room what i have learn and they enjoy it as it refreshes there heads and then we come up with activities together that will support the children in a safe way.
Yes, we have staff meetings that we go to. We also have works dos so we can all get to know each other better and we ca make friendships. I have made some amazing friends and my confidence is so much better and some of my friends are like family to me now.
Yes
You can new skills that are useful at work and at home. Its nice to know you work hard and you gain so much back from everyone and i am so happy with my progress so far i cant wait to gain more and when i finish this level to start something new.
Don't worry! everything happens for a reason and the outcomes are amazing. I would advise everyone to stay on top of their work so when you have time of you dont have too much work to catch up on. And also have proof of all your work. Also to just be positive.
