I am responsible for planning, carrying out, and managing the flow of products and materials along the company's supply chain. This covers each stage, from obtaining raw materials to giving clients their finished products. I collaborate with other departments to develop logistics plans for the transfer of commodities. Demand forecasting, shipment method selection, and shipping window scheduling are all part of this procedure.
I have grown and picked up new skills. I learned how to manage shipments, keep tabs on stocks, and identify supply chain patterns using data analysis tools. I am therefore better able to decide how to raise the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. I now understand how to use logistics-related modern technology and tools. Because of this, I have been able to automate procedures, boost productivity, and make better supply chain decisions.
I am very grateful for my Logistics Manager programme. I find the work to be both fulfilling and challenging. I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my work and the responsibility I feel I have to play in ensuring that the companys products are delivered to customers on schedule and in good condition. Another opportunity I enjoy is working with various internal and external stakeholders.
My programme is structured and in order. The curriculum is created to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the logistics industry, and the courses are taught by seasoned professionals. Internships and capstone projects are only a couple of the opportunities for experiential learning that are included in the curriculum. The curriculum seeks to provide me the abilities and information needed to succeed as a logistics manager. The degree also provides me with a range of possibilities to put my classroom learning into practise.
As a logistics manager, my employer provides me with a lot of assistance. My employer continues to educate me on cutting-edge logistical methods. Because of this, I can stay current with trends and develop my talents. The tools and software I need to do my duties are provided to me by my employer, including inventory management, logistics, and transportation management software. My work is more effective and efficient as a result.
I get a lot of help from my training provider as I work towards being a certified logistics manager. My training provider offers online learning courses that I may access that cover the fundamentals of logistics. I can now study on my own time and in the convenience of my home. Real-time webinars are available from my training company and cover the most recent developments in logistics. This gives me the opportunity to learn from business professionals and gain information about the most recent advances.
Thanks to the qualification, I now have a thorough understanding of the logistics sector, spanning numerous supply chain elements like shipping, warehousing, inventory control, and customer support. I can utilise this information to make better supply chain management decisions and increase the efficacy and efficiency of business operations. I have been able to network with other logistics professionals thanks to the accreditation, and this has given me access to a variety of information and expertise. As I continue my education and develop in my career, this network has been a big help to me.
I have the option to join many different sports teams, including the office softball and basketball teams. While I am not working, I can keep myself entertained and active by engaging in these activities. I might participate in a variety of social gatherings, such as happy hours, potluck suppers, and team-building activities. These interactions strengthen my bonds with my coworkers and promote a happier workplace. I really enjoy being part of such extra curricular activities.
