I work with children up to the age of 5 years. I plan and supervise child led and adult led activities which are based around the interests and needs of each individual child and observe and assess the children's development.
I have learnt lots of valuable new skills. I have gained lots of confidence which had allowed me to work to my full potential and provide the best practice I can everyday.
I have loved every second of my apprenticeship. It has proved to me that this is a job I love and it has its everyday challenges but it is very rewarding.
The apprenticeship programme is very well organised and structured. The structure of the programme had helped my time management and motivated me to meet deadlines. The units you complete are interesting and you are always learning with hand-on experience and continual guidance, support and feedback from my tutor.
I have received a lot of support from my employer. They have supported my with any questions and give me good advice and help me through observations and feedback.
I have been supported every step of the way from LMP Education. My tutor was always available whenever I had a question or needed some advice and she ensured I was fully prepared for all my end point assessment and helped me reach my full potential.
The qualification has equipped me with all the skills I need to fulfil the duties of my role to a high standard.
There are networking events.
