Facilitating training, monitoring progress, attending HR meetings and supporting the wider HR team. Facilitating the onboarding programme Welcome Event. Compliance checks and monitoring, supporting the Talent Manager and stepping up where needed. Going out and visiting new starters to the business, engagement over training. Visiting colleague in their Management programme.
Yes, I have enjoyed learning about the different methods of working within a team, really helping to understand others within my team and helping them to achieve their potential.
At the moment I am enjoying it alot more than I was, initially I found the onboarding experience to be worrying, I didnt feel like any of my worries or doubts were eliminated. But since being assigned my coach this has changed
Since the assignment of my personal coach, this is far better, she is an excellent communicator and is always on hand to answer my questions and worries, she has help to align my Training Plan too so our whole cohort is on the same plan.
My employer is great, my Line Manager and Disciplinary manager are both great advocates of the apprenticeship programme and always check in with me and follow my progress.
My coaches are both excellent and a credit to Lifetime, they have saved the whole experience for me, my initial onboarding wasnt great and was really rushed, I felt like another number. But my coach is patient and really helpful, she understands the pressures of work and doesnt judge
I believe that it is helping me to understand others in my team, and identify their ways of working and how they are different to my own. I fell that the course is helping me to step up and reach my potential, it pushes me out of my comfort zone.
No I am happy with my interaction at work, we have a great team who do socialise together where possible, I have a busy home life so the work life balance is important to me.
Yes
Lidl is a great place to work, you are free to express yourself and be a creative as you like. There is a real friendly and positive culture especially in my RDC, I look forward to coming to work. My team is great and supportive.
Be yourself, be knowledgeable and open to have fun but work hard. Lidl is hard, and tough going at times but the rewards are great!
