Maintaining staff welfare, day-to-day trading and offering excellent customer service
I have certainly developed a better understanding of individuals as a result of my apprenticeship. Learning different types of personality types and traits has helped me adapt both my way of communicating with said as well as leading. I found myself utilising these skills outside of work too.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning about other personality types and traits. I think mine and my supervisors relationship also made things a lot more enjoyable as he had a real good understanding of me and how I worked. He wouldn't push but know I put pressure on myself.
Very well. As I said, my supervisor would not push as he knew where I was at with things at all times. Once I found the time within my working days, the work completion was effective and efficient.
The granting of time away from my desk to complete work was difficult at times due to the nature of the branch (Harvey Reeves) but once I had that, it was fine.
My supervisor was brilliant. He helped me without intending to via possessing the understanding of me, my ways of working and my own personal targets. We got along very well throughout.
Great. The understanding I have gained has helped me in every day proceedings and not just work which goes a long way. Working on my ways of communication and leading were great learning curves for me and is something that I continue to work on.

There is the opportunity to very quickly build a solid support network that will later help you in more ways than you could initially think. Be that with surrounding colleagues in branch but even contacts externally.
Work hard. Communicate well. Be honest.
