Yes, I have enhanced my leadership skills, develop academic writing skills and become more reflective in my decision making as a result of the programme so far.
The programme is well structured with highly qualified industry experts teaching the course content. It has been particularly enjoyable meeting other students from a range of professional backgrounds and sharing experiences.
The programme is well structured, however, the content does often feel rushed and that the virtual sessions would be much better delivered in person. There could be a greater inclusion of public sector examples and references to theory associated with public sector as so far it has heavily focused on the commercial environment.
I am really grateful to my employer for allowing me the opportunity to attend the CMDA course, however despite being given day release for 20% of my time, there is no cover in place for this and therefore I largely need to fit five days work into four.
The support from MMU has been fantastic, they helped me to get an assessment for my disability and a package of learning support in place. The course lead is passionate about students accessing support and additionally the wellbeing services are accessible and supportive to my needs.
Very much so, provides strong academic theories to strengthen my practice.
