at the moment I am learning to drive a bus safely so that I can pass a driving test I have already passed theory and hazard perception. I also need to pass reversing and Modular 4 which is understanding the bus and what I need to do in certain situations.
I have learnt how to drive a bus and how i need to position a bus on the roads at junctions and roundabouts. I have learnt the importance of health and safety within my new role. I have learnt that being customer focused is an important role within the job and also I will be the face of the company so smart and politeness is very important
there is a real positive vibe within the training team and with the trainees. I am getting up every day looking forward to going to work which is something I have not done for many years. I have clear instructions of what is expected of me and I try to be better every day
so far the structure has been fantastic, the organisation is also of a high standard which makes this course even more enjoyable there is lots to study and always someone on hand to answer any questions if I have any. On occasions that I have emailed my tutor I usually have replies within the hour which is fantastic
So far the support I have been getting has been top drawer. We are getting lots of support from fully qualified bus drivers too which is very encouraging
As I stated earlier the support has been fantastic. Any questions I have are answered promptly and clearly so that I can understand
I feel that I am being better prepared for my role in a real world , I am being taught what my role will be what is expected of me and what I can expect while out doing my job once I have passed my driving qualifications as a bus driver
not that I am aware of at the moment but I have not been actively looking as I am studying and working at the moment but maybe something to think about in the future as everyone seems so friendly and happy to help
Yes
the atmosphere within the company really seems to be that of anything to help which really fits in with my outlook on life. I have been coming home happy every day so far and my family are even noticing the difference in me. I believe this is a great career change for me
Go for it. you have nothing to lose. This will be a psoitive experience if you put the time and effort in to your working day
