As a part of the customer team, my responsibilities consist of responding to questions from customers, putting out stock, and working at the till. In addition to taking phone calls, I find myself in management training. I am able to both open and close the store. In addition to learning how to perform the position above me, I assist in training new hires.
Even though I was able to answer the phone, working here has given me greater confidence in doing so. I became knowledgeable about every aspect of guttering and plumbing. Prior to starting this work, I knew nothing about the products, but now that I do, I know more. Even though I was a manager before, I have learned new procedures and methods for carrying out tasks.
I appreciate the various facets of learning and how it drives me to accomplish more and think more thoroughly about all I do. Normally, your task requires a regular level of thought followed by you just carry on with it, but this demands all of the extras that are associated with it. I like that I have to think more.
Every month, I meet with my tutor to go over everything I've done that month, including the other tasks I've been doing and how they affect my present employment and how they will benefit me moving ahead. I may contact my tutor at any time by email or message and will receive a response within a few days unless he is on vacation. So far, everything has gone well.
My employer makes time for me to learn new things, finds extra tasks for me to complete, and waits to show me anything that might be beneficial to me and advance my education. They go above and above and are always there for me when I need them. My manager has been a great assistance. It was awesome to finally understand the professional part of my passions.
It is basically a review of everything and a refresher on previous subjects because I already have my maths and English credentials. I have reviewed everything I wasn't too fond of, gone over everything I wasn't too fond of, expressed my worries about the revision process since the questions don't always add up, and I've had to look beyond the revision provided. Additionally, the revision always uses the simplest examples, and the problems appear to be seven levels higher. It would be beneficial for future students to check into that.
By forcing me to consider the consequences of my actions and how they affect not only my work but also people around me, it improves how well I perform. I absorb information in greater detail than just taking it at face value. This will be useful to me when I am promoted since I am learning more about my position.
There are professional networking events, but they are restricted to certain job titles and individuals may only attend. Sadly, there are no extracurricular activities like sports teams, or otherwise I would surely join those. They attend events devoted to their bathrooms and kitchens, where they are educated on the latest items. They say all work and no play makes jack a lazy boy thus I see the need for us to interact from time to time.

I appreciate working with and with the individuals I work with; I also like Wickes' values and extracurricular activities. They are doing a lot of work related to LGBTQ+ issues, Black History Month, and Pride. I enjoy that recycling is of the utmost importance for the firm as well as the fact we both donate a lot of our time to charitable causes.
Make sure you are a cooperative member of the team; it is pleasant when people support one another. Refresh your knowledge of customer service while being true to who you are. Wickes enjoys celebrating each unique individual for who they are and cherishes them for who they are. Recognise what Wickes does and be forthright and truthful. Be always open for opportunities .
