Planning themed activities for the children. Carrying out daily risk assessments, regular child observations and assessments.
I have learnt how to support children who have special needs.
I really enjoyed the programme because I was constantly learning something new. My colleagues, manager and my tutor were all very supportive.
It was well structured.
I received a lot of support. Every time I had a question, everyone took the time to answer it.
My training provider prepared me well for the exam. My tutor was always available when I had questions and the feedback I received on my self-studies and assignments was helpful.
It helps me to perform better in my role because I feel more confident in what I'm doing. I can apply everything I learned during my training in my professional work.
My employer has given us access to the National College for Nurseries, where we can take courses to further our education.
Yes
Although I had no work experience in childcare, I was welcomed with open arms and offered a training place. All the staff are highly professional and I learnt a lot from them and still do. When I had questions, they took the time to answer them in detail. The whole team is friendly and I really enjoy working there.
If you are looking for a small, professional team that enjoys working with young children, you should definitely apply to Emma's Day Nursery.
