Developer working on two accounts, meaning I have to have a knowledge of multiple coding languages and environments, deep understanding of several large scale systems and be able to apply the right knowledge at the right time in order to work smart, not hard. Day to day involves speaking with customers about any issues they have, be able to relate technical problems into common sense terms and to be able to co-ordinate repairs across multiple resources all whilst keeping customer regularly informed.
Time management, I have learnt how to effectively prioritise, anyone can work hard and long, it takes skill to work smart, to get the same work done, to the same standard but in less time.
I thoroughly enjoy working here, each day is a new challenge mentally which exercises my analytical and problem solving skills as well as crazy amounts of time and resource management. It is by far the most engaging job I have undertaken so far, something which I value and hope to maintain for the future.
I have been made to feel an integrated member of the team, that the contributions I make are valuable and a part of the success of the overall performance.
The programme is very structured, despite it going through a major re-work, we have been kept involved and updated as to what is going on.
The support is there from QA if I need it, I have been repeatedly informed and made aware of this so it is good to know, as of yet I haven't needed to make use of this.
During the start of the training, the amount of support I received was fantastic, both on a work related and personal level, the managers made it their own personal business to ensure I was okay, that I didn't have to worry so that I could focus on the training, without which I don't think I would have been able to make it through.
The salary package is perfectly fine for what I need right now, it covers my rent, my bills, all my debits and contracts, foodwise living like a king and still have more than enough left over to bury into savings and spend on what I need.
The opportunities outside of day to day work are there, I know as I have been or am going to be involved in some of them. Some of the opportunities though you do have to route down for, but if you are persistent enough you will find them.

In detail information can be found here (https://www.plotr.co.uk/articles/wysiwygarticle/1316/whats-it-really-like-to-be-a-capgemini-apprentice/), but fundamentally, If I had known what I know now about Apprenticeship schemes, I would not have applied to Uni for a course that didn't appeal to me.
Realise what an opportunity is on offered here, grab it with both hands and work to get here, it isn't easy to get in but once you are, the rewards to your career and prospects are so worth it.
