My day to day role includes emailing clients, answering the phones, sending documents to clients and booking appointments.
I have learnt many new skills, for example, how to communicate formally, as well as all of the terminology that I am surrounded with daily.
I really enjoyed the programme as I was supported and the meetings with my tutor were frequent, but not too much.
The programme was very structured, I always knew what topics were coming up, and meetings were booked in in advance.
I received a lot of support from my employer, they gave me a lot of time and supported me.
I received a lot of support from my training provider, any emails that I would send with questions would be answered and when I was busy in the office, they were able to work around me.
It has helped me perform better in my role as I am able to organise my days better and I am able to speak to clients formally and make sure my emails and letters are clear and concise.
Yes, there are social activities, professional networking events every week as well as awards nights where we can all socialise. We have Christmas dinner planned as well.
Yes
They were able to teach me a lot, it wasn't stressful, they were able to work around me and the content to learn was easy to comprehend. The assessor was really nice as well.
To make sure they are in a company that can support them, and will allow them the time needed to complete the apprenticeship to the best of your ability.
