I am an electrical engineering apprentice. On a day to day basis I complete coursework and am learning the basics of electrical engineering.
Since I’ve started I’ve learnt a fair amount about different electrical components and what they are used for/how they work. I have also developed my knowledge in wiring and testing activities.
I have really enjoyed the programme so far.
The programme is very well structured and I know what work I’m going to be doing each day.
The employers/instructors help a lot with work when we are not sure of things. Additionally, they help with outside issues and are understanding.
My instructors have supported me whenever I have been unsure of things regarding my work and qualifications.
I believe that the qualifications and training I will receive from this apprenticeship will massively help me to perform well at my job role.
There are a few extra curricular activities and events that are put on by Tata.
Yes
I believe that the apprenticeship that Tata offer is definitely one of the best in the area.
I would advise others to complete some form of prior experience (although not necessary) as I believe it definitely helps you in the application form. This could be college courses or even work experience in another similar environment.
