The work I do is mostly project based, these projects allow me to learn more about the company and also see more of the site. I also have tasks within the lab, such as radiation checks on equipment and analysing samples on an SEM
I have definitely learnt a lot more in my short time here. I have developed my background knowledge to a further extent but also been taught about things that are completely new to me.
I really enjoy my program, the work environment is great and I feel very supported at work and college.
I think that the programme is very well organised, I have found it easy to follow my plan and also think I am progressing at a good rate.
I receive a lot of support from my work team, and not just about work related issues. There is great communication within the department and I feel happy to ask for aid if needed
Some assignments have needed a bit more explanation than what was provided initially, but the teachers are more than happy to do so.
At the moment what I have done in class hasn’t had relevance to my role in work, but I have been able to work on some practical skills.

Do not be intimidated by people you work with. Everyone will be happy to help you and provide support.
