As part of the audit team you will be expected to communicate with clients on the engagement you are assigned to, documenting your findings into the audit file for senior members of the team to review.
Excel will become a big part of your life working in audit, you can expect to develop your knowledge pretty quickly.
Having the experience of full time work as well as a degree is a really nice split to help you transition into a full time job after University.
Overall, the programme has a great structure to it, and fits well with university and your personal life.
You are surrounded by people who only want to see you succeed and will help you through every part of the process.
ICAEW provide textbooks for our course which are paid for by PwC. Other than this, Nottingham University and PwC are the ones providing the support, as expected.
Having a jumpstart on becoming a chartered accountant at university, and qualifying a year earlier than others would gives motivation to try harder in your role.
Many social activities take place, including within the sub-groups at PwC (i.e. B&CM, AWM etc...) which help bring everyone together and get to know each other.

Working at PwC from my second year of university has helped my confidence in a way that university can't. Being in the real world and having placements will ultimately help your transition from university to full time work.
Just be yourself. As cliche as it sounds, PwC are looking for those that will fit in best with their teams and are excited to do their job.
