My role would vary from doing client work, to attending meetings with clients and helping to take notes, requesting information from clients and documenting this.
My auditing knowledge and skills have greatly developed and i have learnt a lot about being a good auditor. My excel ability has also greatly increased as prior to starting here i could barely use excel
I have really enjoyed the programme so far as I have learnt a lot by being on a work placement gaining real world experience.
The programme is very well organised i have found. When i first started placement i was very anxious that i would be very much out of my depth but by having a year of study prior to beginning work massively helped and i felt comfortable pretty quickly
PwC provides a lot of support. We have a career coach as well as our engagement teams who provide enormous amounts of support and help. The University of Nottingham have also given us support by giving us the option to speak to us as well as setting up a call mid placement to discuss how it has been going.
The university of Nottingham provide us with all out teaching. They give us support and all the study books and more online.
Studying the qualification has helped me to perform much better in my role as i already had a grasp of what would be expected of me and i already had a good understanding of audit
There have been some social events organised between the flying start groups. There was a Christmas party. There has also been other events, Over my placement i never heard any mention of any sporting groups however
