Supervise and provide learning support for pupils with or without special needs. Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals. Supporting the class teacher and staff. First aid for children.
I have learnt how to manage children’s behaviour. Learning plans to support children with additional needs. Understanding the curriculum and learning styles to support children.
I found the apprenticeship was structured well. The support I received from LMP and my assessor was very good. If I needed any help with anything my tutor always showed willingness to help and return any emails if unavailable at the time. The additional learning resources were clear and structured in accordance to my learning.
To a high extent they were structured well. I was able to clearly identify areas where I needed to work on. For example my maths programmes helped me towards passing my exams.
I received continuous support from my school and they allowed me plenty of time during my working week to complete tasks. They also gave me ample time to learn with senior members of my team to help with my training.
I received plenty of support from my training provider. Their instructions were clear and time spent online via teams was exceptionally good, good relationship with my assessor. They helped me towards gaining new skills via boot camps online, which were brilliant and structured well.
Most definitely has helped me towards my role. I have been given plenty of resources to read through, identify my strengths and weaknesses and gained experience to carry out my job role to the best of my ability.
We have professional meetings, discussions that we are able to get involved with. most recently we have set up a well being hun for staff to rewind and support each other. Social activities are also out in place to help with team building.
