My role is within the Consulting Service Delivery business area at EY Newcastle with my day to day role being of an analyst on a client engagement which involves completing case work to achieve and meet the clients expectations
I have learnt a lot of skills and as part of the apprenticeship programme, we are completing a chartered manager qualification which involves ensuring we meet different learning standards. This means that we have to prove that we have met all the skills required to qualify as a manager
The programme is very enjoyable yet challenging. It is tailored so that we gain the best of both worlds and learn on how we can make in impact from the theory at University and apply it to improve business operations at EY
The structure is clear and it has been tried and tested for many years. This means we know what to expect and the nature of the programme allows us to get the best of both worlds
EY are a very supportive organisation and are fully involved in the apprenticeship. There’s many support mechanisms in place that allows us to get the help that we need.
Northumbria university are very helpful and provides us with a workplace coach to guide and help us meet the learning outcomes for the chartered manager qualification
The learning side at University is very closely linked with the workplace with our learning being directly related to the impact on different areas at work and how we could improve. This allows us to apply our learning directly to improve our impact positively on the business
Yes, EY have many networks that allows employees to join and get involved with different areas of interest
Yes
