Audit involves checking the financial statements are mostly correct. We check the numbers and the words in a variety of ways so every day looks quite different, from client calls to invoice vouching to stock counts and client site.
Loads, we go from no accounting experience to ACA very quickly
It’s a great programme with exposure to challenging tasks
Very structured, training theoughout
Lots of support from colleagues counsellors and training providers
They make us do loads of locks and provide great tuition with lots of question practice
We often cram a lot of our studying so it’s difficult to say, I do see the content I’ve learnt come up in real life though
