I am an associate within Government & Public Sector audit and my work involves auditing these clients' financial accounts. We work with clients across the NHS, Local Government and NAO.
I have developed in my communication skills significantly - working on different engagements can mean that you are working with different teams week by week so it's important to learn how to communicate effectively and adapt to everyone's individual working styles in order to work together.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship - it's the perfect balance of study and work and I feel supported when learning new things and navigating new areas of work.
Very well organised - we are aware of the study periods well in advance
EY is extremely supportive and has an extensive number of resources to aid us in being successful in our roles.
The support from EY and training provider First Intuition is really significant - I am aware of the resources available and how to access support.
My qualification in Accountancy helps to provide context to some tasks that I carry out in my day-to-day role in financial audit.
There are several social activities available to take part it - Jiu Jitsu, Bouldering, Badminton etc
