maintenance on multiple simulation devices and customer relations with both the RAF and Ascent
learnt multiple skills involved in electronics and coding.
very enjoyable, met many new people who are usually willing to help in any way
the program itself has been rocky thanks to the college over promising on what they can provide. the work based scheme of work however has been very good.
we have a mentor who we work on the same shift as for constant support and a wealth of knowledge in the office to tap into if any issues occur that are too challenging for an individual
we are able to use slow time at work to complete college work as well as jobs around the workplace that we have been able to link into the apprentice scheme of work
I believe that the qualifications are very helpful not only for the professional appearance but that the qualification has enabled me to talk to the pilots and rear crew with a degree of understanding
We as apprentices get invited to some corporate events however due to our remote location it isn't as many as the apprentices down in the south get offered.
