As part of my position I run through time schedules of projects and ensure that we are on track to meet the customers demands. I am also still exploring lots of different aspects of the business.
My understanding of Primavera 6 and MSP have grown massively, time management skills have drastically improved in addition to communication. The skill of working in a professional environment has also been developed.
I am so invested in this programme and the work that I am able to provide input to everyday is extremely rewarding, I have nothing but positivity and gratitude to being where I am.
The organization of the programme is phenomenal, however the attribute of including the apprentices is a little less due to it being difficult to integrate us into work as there isnt very much work.
There has been nothing but support from the who business, ranging from new grads all the way up to the director of the company. With frequent visits and meeting from the senior individuals it has allowed for a great environment to be developed. My line manager is amazing also!!
Unfortunately, this is the worst attribute of the position. The university is extremely disorganized and underprepared for the conflict of confidentiality, in addition to this, it is not an inspiring place to learn. Despite one lecturer has stood out and made the first unit informative and enjoyable.
It is slightly too early to tell, however there has definitely been a cross over between the material covered in class and my understanding in a real life situation at work.
Yes there is, I am currently part of a climbing and football social group. In addition to this, there are frequent curry socials or other casual social events available. However, I did only hear about the climbing/ football through external word of mouth.
Yes
It is a fantastic company that works on amazing projects, in addition to this the benefits that come with it are phenomenal! Furthermore, there is plenty of room to progress within the company. Or alternatively it is a great name on the CV and a fantastic way to get into the defense industry!
Work hard. Employers will look for someone that is dedicated to perusing and achieving goals. By showing your employer that you are willing to work hard, they will know that you have one of the hardest things to obtain. Good work ethic.
