  • Standard audit procedures according to accounting standards for client's financial statements. Day to day at a junior level includes aiding primary audit substantive testing and recording industry knowledge.

  • Yes, excel, using company software for audit, client interaction, industry/audit knowledge through obtaining the ICAEW qualification.

  • Rather large extent

  • Well in terms of college time and work time. Can be intensive sometimes but manageable.

  • Plenty.

  • Not much support for those who fail or defer. Dislike majority of training being online.

  • The ICAEW qualification well equips me for my job.

  • Benefits of a well structured industry. Regular development opportunities, not everyday is the same.

  • Make sure it's something you actually want to get into and not just for the name. Be yourself as that shines in interviews.
