Supporting the running of a service in a residential children's home. Supporting children with complex health needs and disabilities. Shift leading, care planning, inducting née staff. Supporting young people with every aspect of life.
Embedding knowledge of legislation and regulations in line with practice. Expanding reflective supervision and self evaluation
The tutor was very supportive and encouraging. Making assessment methods interesting and different
The programme is well organised with self motivated individuals who have lots of resourcefulness. The organisation/service contract, despite it being regulatory, don't have enough time and contracted hours to support more indirect written work and research assignments.
My employer did not need to support me as I was self driven and as stated above there is little time for that support to be offered
The trainer check in once a month and was contactable when I needed support
On Every level and day. It integrates the learning, practice and theory. I feel it could be more in depth and detailed in my opinion for a managers role
