  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed it a lot as the training was interesting and engaging. My coach encouraged open discussion on topics which helped me both understand the topic of discussion, and to elaborate on it further to understand how it affects others and not just my role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme was structured well, however some key topics could've been covered sooner such as Data Protection and Security. Although this is all policies and processes, it's an important aspect to know when working with and having access to a lot of business data that could be sensitive information.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received plenty of support when asked for, including links to extra resources, and the opportunity to complete other certifications with no extra cost to myself. This allowed me to expand further than what is covered in the curriculum of the apprenticeship and push my expertise further.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has helped me understand the foundations of big data and the data sector. It's allowed me to move forward into planning a new role within the business I work for to develop my own knowledge and skills in Data Governance and Infrastructure to collaborate with stakeholders and improve business systems.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Baltic Apprenticeships to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Baltic Apprenticeships have given me the chance to move into a career that is growing within the UK and is a necessary role in any business. This means I have a long term job opportunity regardless of where I work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Baltic Apprenticeships?
  • Always look to make yourself new opportunities and don't be afraid to ask questions. Even when there aren't clear paths for development, it's good to talk about what you are interested in and what that could bring to the table. This has helped me create my own development path and a new role within the business which I am happy with.
