Managing the till staff, managing the incoming and outgoing money, being a duty manager, fire champion and first aider, generally just making the day go smoothly for staff and customers
Personally I think I've gained knowledge on how to be a better people manager and to think of other leadership styles
It has been a bit stressful in my opinion but I will feel achievement once its completed.
If I had my coach from the start of my course then it would have been more organised.
I have to remind them a lot that I'm allowed time off the floor to do my course work but they're okay once reminded.
My tutor supports me when needed.
Yes
The money and benefits are good. There are pros and cons of working anywhere but generally I've enjoyed my time at B&Q
Be yourself and be open minded
