Support experiments in the lab and complete outreach regarding apprenticeships and science.
I’ve learnt teamwork skills as well as practical techniques specific to the biologics sector.
I enjoy the university site of the programme however my day to day role is another story.
The programme has become very well structured following student feedback.
Little to no support, despite asking for support through routes of line manager, HR and team. I get days to complete uni work.
Manchester Met is a very supportive university and you receive a skills coach who you can contact regarding all issues and complaints and will support.
I feel my qualification supports my theoretical knowledge around my role.
I occasionally attend networking events, with countless invites to attend and speak. Work approve a few but mainly attendance must be “fair” for all apprentices.

I believe the company has potential, but in my role there are limited opportunities.
Research deep tech innovation, and shout loud about yourself and for your needs from the offset or you will slip through the cracks.
