I move around every 6 months to different placements around the business to gain a wealth of experience. At present i am in an engineering health and safety team. My current role involves attending different sites to understand their health and safety procedures.
Absolutely! E.ON promotes continuous improvement, so i have been in the process of getting my NEBOSH General Certificate.
I love my programme, i feel empowered, supported and accelerated within the business. E.ON makes sure to look after its apprentices, by giving them mentors, buddies, regularly checking in with our training provider, and championing us to take control of our future.
I find it to be very well structured. E.ON talks frequently with my training provider, and encourage me to match my placements to the subjects i am studying at University.
So much! From mentors, to year above buddies, to regular catch ups with HR.
A lot! E.ON are very good at catching up with us about what assignments we have on and making sure we have access to the documents we need as well as catching up with us about progress and offering support if we get a grade we are not happy with.
I take alot of my learning from my university course and E.ON encourage me to put into practice what i learn into the projects i am involved in.
E.ON pride themselves on our extensive range of colleague led networks. I am a part of the Neurodiversity network, where we empower neurodiverse colleagues. I am also a part of a Career Network that encourages colleagues to improve their career development.
Yes
