I work within the fleet department at costain looking after all company vehicles, commercial or plant vehicles. I manage many different portals logging all car details, driver details etc. I also create reports about live on hire vehicles and many other reports to track data.
Yes, I have learnt how to properly use Microsoft Excel.
It has gotten better as time has gone on and I have received more of my own work to do.
Very well organised. I have meetings with my training provider every 2-3 weeks and everything is set out very clearly from them. there is not much involvement from costain with my apprenticeship, they feel very disconnected and like I'm doing two things at once not both in one.
I receive a lot of support from my employer regarding my Job. I haven't needed any help with my apprenticeship but the availability to support me is always there.
I receive lots of help from them. Although I haven't needed any support, the training provider is always able to set out tasks clearly so that there is no ambiguity surrounding it.

After work drinks every two weeks.

I would say to relax and just enjoy it as it is not too taxing and there's always room to have a nice time and be able to enjoy your time there.
