No 2 days are the same but I have taken on a role assisting senior brokers with the system based tasks as well as gradually getting more involved in account work.
I have developed my practical skills on excel, my analytical skills, my interpersonal skills as well as my confidence and maturity.
I found some of the program really helpful and feel as if coming out of school, it gave me some structure however found some of the tasks irrelevant to my role.
Program is extremely structured with time frames which assists you in remaining on track however does add an extra element of pressure which can be counter productive.
My employer has provided a perfect amount of support. My team allow me to dedicate time to my apprenticeship, the learning development team set up regular check ins as well as additional sessions to develop our learning.
I feel as if its dependent on the scenario. I have felt a lack of support when completing exams which create another part of my qualification but when doing the exams which are hosted by the training provider I have felt supported.
I feel as if the Cert CII allows me to gain credibility in my role however is not directed at my role specifically and the other exams hosted by my training provider have allowed me to gain confidence but again, we're completely irrelevant to my role.
I have attended several professional networking events and am partaking in a Taskforce to better the apprenticeship.
