On a day to day basis, I undertake tasks such as, paying and communicating with subcontractors. I also undertake applications to the client as well as procurement and placing orders for multiple schemes. I also assist the senior commercial staff with any jobs they may give me.
I have learnt many new skills as I came into the business just after finishing my A-levels.
I enjoy my programme as it has helped ,me progress my knowledge of the commercial department and I am constantly pushed to progress further.
The programme is well structured and is clear what my targets are.
I have and continue to receive a lot of support from my employer, mainly through my line manager.
I have received some support although some deadlines are unrealistic for apprentices that work 4 days a week as well as studying.
Some of the work has been very specific toward housing which I am not involved in, however as the years have progressed the content has become more relevant.
There are often many social events to attend, namely the christmas party.
Yes
I have had a good experience working here so far.
Be yourself and be prepared to learn a lot, the people are very welcoming and it has been a pleasure to work for them for the short time I have been working here.
