I have learnt so many new skills and terminology. I have built upon my excel knowledge as well as learning new systems for drawings and measurements such as AutoCad and CostX
I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship programme and love the variety between university studies and practical work experience. There are many ways to socialise and network in this programme despite not being in the traditional university route
My programme is well structured spending one day a week at university and 4 days working. We have extra training to ensure we continue our professional development throughout our apprenticeship
I receive a lot of support not only from my team but the wider business including the emerging talent team with all questions answered promptly
I have regular meetings with my training provider to support my job and qualification however sometimes the training provider struggles to understand we do work a full time job too
Some aspects of my qualification aid me in my role but more often i find my role aiding my qualification
I am involved in many activities for example Women at Mace which is a group that meets monthly to discuss challenges and opportunities of being women in the business and industry
Yes
