Assisting the general manager with the day to day running of the business, training FOH and both team, maximising profit whilst still keeping legal and safe.
Time management skills, people management skills, motivational skills, organisational skills, and social skills outside of the business ie community and work related events.
I enjoyed my programme until the spoken exam, would have much preferred this to be in person or offered an alternative (anxiety/autism), would have also preferred in person visits or at least the same tutor as I had 0 in person on my level 3 and had 4 different tutors.
Previous level 2 was great and well organised, this level 3 was less so due to poor communication/having tutors changed so often.
had little to begin with due to a GM that wasn't fully present so I felt very much on my own with it, but after a short hold my new GM convinced me to finish the level 3 and offered lots of support from then on
Mostly enough, they allowed me a break when I had some personal issues combined with the work issues, but again, lots of new tutors meant I never got fully comfortable enough to call them for extra help like my previous one.
I don't think it helps me in my current role - very similar to the mable training modules we have to do, but hopefully will set me up for further education and progression
1 staff do a year?
Yes
Know it's somewhere you can progress especially from a background like mine, love that there's a safety culture unlike previous chains I've worked for
