As a team leader apprentice, i act as the driving force behind LMP's dynamic recruitment team, with a keen understanding of the ever-evolving talent landscape. I help to guide the team in navigating industry trends and hitting performance targets. A leadership style rooted in collaboration and mentorship, inspiring the team to reach new heights whilst setting the tone for a positive and motivated work environment.
This apprenticeship has taught me so much in terms of managing a team. I've developed my confidence, leadership skills, holding appraisals and new hires, its been an extremely insightful journey.
The work load is challenging yet rewarding, i've learnt a lot and as someone who enjoys to read and learn, its been such a valuable opportunity to have time to study/ carry out research whilst apply what i've learnt in my everyday role.
I have regular reviews with my tutor to ensure i'm on track, these happen every 4 weeks. The structure works well for me and allows me to work independently around my busy schedule.
My line manager and senior team are very supportive of me completing this course. It was suggested to me to help learn and develop my skills as a new team leader.
My tutor is there as and when i need her to be and holds regular reviews to ensure i'm progressing. I receive newsletters and updates that support my learning journey, such as ongoing Cognassist assessments.
Massively! Without the apprenticeship programme, I wouldn't have develop half the skills i have today. I also possess key strategies, tools and techniques that i can use going forward as a team leader.
We have regular weekly team meetings, including a 'hot topics' wellbeing session on a Mon morn. We meet company wide on a quarterly basis, to outline future plans and goals, plus theres always a fun social element included.

They offer a wide range of courses to suit all aspirations. Theres an added value offering too, which you can do alongside your apprenticeship. I feel fully supported and its been an easy process.
Set yourself weekly and monthly goals to stay on track and look into all the additional courses LMP have to offer.
