1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day-to-day role mainly involves managing costs on projects by conducting reviews of costs submitted by the clients. I also regularly conduct measurements using costX to help with my cost reviews.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I am confident with costX and excel, software which i was unfamiliar with before the start of my apprenticeship. I think my time management has greatly improved by being bale to balance uni work with normal work, and also by prioritising certain tasks.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive great support from my employer, regular 1-2-1 meetings with my line manager help this greatly.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

In some parts I think the degree has helped, but for the most part, most topics studied so far in the degree have not come up as of yet in my daily job role

I have already attended social activities and taken part in a work football tournament.

9a. Would you recommend Arcadis to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

Many reasons. A number of different roles within multiple different sectors, there's something for everyone. Also the great office space here in London makes a comfortable working environment and is very collaborative with peers. Also the freedom to work remotely is beneficial.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arcadis?

On your cover letter, show interest in Arcadis by researching a certain project that has stood out to you.
