the typical day involves me shadowing the team and practicing my skills on the test environment. i also participate in meetings and calls regarding changes, improvements, recoveries and fixes.
yes, i have learnt many new skills related to business / team communication and management as well as new IT skills from hands on training and QA training.
this program is amazing alternative to university, although my expenses are barely covered, i do not have to worry about taking out any student loans and getting into debt.
the organization on NatWest's end was great, however i feel QA wasn't as prepared and the Job description could've been more clearer when i applied.
My line manager is the best. when i first started i was a little nervous but my line manager reassured me and to this day been very supportive and kind.
support is great, i had some concerns regarding me not having enough short breaks for my prayers, the QA team were fast to respond to the feedback and on the second day, i was provided with breaks that suited my needs.
the qualification focuses on many different aspects which is really useful for all types of IT roles which i what makes it a really good choice as i've got the flexibility.
yes, they often run events and activities. recently i attended the Christmas party. the event hub is used to sign up for an event your interested in, i visited the data centers which was an amazing educational experience.
Yes
Amazing Place to work, honestly the environment is very friendly and supportive for you development and progression.
There's no need to worry too much about not managing your time effectively as NatWest and QA provide many resources to help things work for you.
