On a day-to-day basis, I serve customers hoping to find their perfect holiday and set the customers up to have the best possible time whilst they are away with us
I have learnt new skills such as different sales tactics and different customer needs and wants from their holiday experience.
I really enjoy my programme as I feel very at home, welcomed and supported by the team that I work with in-store and my apprenticeship coach supports me very well too!
I feel that my programme is well organised. I have monthly catch-up calls with my apprenticeship coach and get assigned work promptly when I have completed all my outstanding tasks
I feel that I get a lot of support from my employer and the team that I work with as I know that if I am struggling with anything then they will help and support me with anything they can do to help me
I feel that I receive a lot of support from my training provider. On my monthly calls with my coach, I can discuss anything that I am needing help with and even when I am not on a call I can contact my coach for any help that I need.
I feel that my qualification is helping my job role as I am learning a lot of new information such foreign destination facts and pre-travel requirements in my course and this is helping me gain confidence talking about these subjects with our customers
There are extra curricular activates that I am involved in such as different training days with different suppliers, team nights out with the rest of my team and am a part of the companies fantasy football league.
Yes
I would recommend TUI for an apprenticeship as it is a blended with working and learning in the job without having to go to college or uni to learn and it is a very well structured course with good company benefits
I would advise that you should be sociable as you are speaking to customers and your colleagues throughout the working day and to be interested in different destinations so you are enthusiastic with the customers.
