My job role mainly involves cost management, contract administration and commercial management. I have about 7 Subcontractor whom l manage contractually and a big packege subcontractor with who l support a managing QS on as way to get more experience on the job. I often go on site tour and site visit as part of my role.
I am happy to that l have amassed a lot of interpersonal and professional skills which has boosted my confidence since starting work here. I have learnt profession related skills like contract management i.e issuing CEs and EWNs which key skills. I have become more confident in myself and manage to present in front of huge crowds.
I am enjoying my programme to a greater extent because of my supportive manager who are eager to impart their knowledge and experience on to me. I am happy with what l have achieved so far .
Am proud to say that my programme well structure in that everything is planned carefully and set in motion with little to surprises.
I recieve a lot support from my manager and the rest of the team l work with. The employer promote an environment that is condusive and allows for growth.
In as much as l spend a lot of my time at work but l find the little time l spend at university well spend and worthit.
