Quantity surveying degree apprenticeship with significant responsibility on cost estimating.
I am developing skills toward APC. However, I am now being limited as I am not getting exposure to additonal skills that I need for my APC.
I enjoy my programme as it is challenging but I enjoy my day job and going to University. However, there is no rotation option at Arcadis, so I feel like I have been kept in one team and not been able to broaden my knowledge.
The University programme is very well structured. In Arcadis, there is not a structure for additional ways of gaining knowledge outside of your team. This is limiting individuals development as they approach EPA.
I receive good support from my LM and team in terms of study leave, however I dont think they appreciate how much time is spent outside of the workplace working on University work.

No
I have enjoyed working at Arcadis and have felt supported by my team. However, progression and rotation opportunities towards the APC is not where it should be and is poor for such a large company. In addition, pay and job levels are not aligned and is not followed by all in the business.
To make sure you do your research on the company.
