I am an apprentice dental nurse, I assist the dentist chairside and help with admin duties like reception, auditing preperations and ensuring the practice stays clean.
I was completely new to dentistry so I everything was new to me, like the skills needed.
It is very long and time consuming but I enjoy my place of work.
not the best, I have had 3 different assessors and have only had one observation when I shouldve had 3 by now.
My employer is really good support wise, I am able to get enough time off when needed.
Not the most but the assessor I have now seems to help when I ask.
It really helps because a lot of the knowledge I have developed came from the teaching plans.
every so often courses come up that I can do but mostly will have to wait until I am properly qualified.
Yes
They are supportive and mostly friendly
